Governors' Little is located on the Mara River in the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. Governors' Little is open throughout the year. The high season months is August to October (Great Migration, passing through the Masai Mara) and December to March. The long green season is from the end of March to the end of May and the short green season is in November.

Air Kenya offers scheduled flights twice daily from Nairobi Wilson Airport to Musiara Airstrip (which takes on average 45 minutes). There is a meet and greet transfer with a Land Rover to the camp in the Masai Mara (taking about 15 minutes). There are return flights from Musiara Airstrip to Nairobi twice daily. There are scheduled flights from other airports in Kenya such as Nanyuki, Lamu, Samburu, Malindi, Mombasa and Ukunda (Diani).
