Guests at this luxury tented camp in Kenya can relax in comfort and peace along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. There are 27 modern en-suite tents under lovely shady trees. Each tented suite has a secluded veranda overlooking the riverside. Romantic meals can be served here or in a variety of secret bush locations.
Samburu Intrepids is designed to catch the cool river breezes and all public areas are raised on stilts. Guests will find a terrace overlooking the river for breakfasts and lunches, a dining room and spacious lounge and bar area. There is a shady sunbathing area which surrounds a bright blue free-form swimming pool.
Samburu National Reserve has for many years been inaccessible to visitors; its remoteness ensures the peaceful and serene atmosphere. Many animals living in this semi arid area come to the river to drink including Elephant and Leopard as well as uncommon endemic species.
Guests as Samburu Intrepids Lodge can enjoy open vehicle safari game drives, camel rides and walks, rafting when the river is full and bird watching with ornithologists, amongst a host of other interesting activities.
