Saruni Safari Camp is a deluxe, intimate design Kenya game lodge set in a conservation area bordering with the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. There is accommodation for 12 guests in 6 spectacular cottages.
Owner-hosted, Saruni Safari Camp offers a new concept: the thrill of a real adventure lived in harmony with the Maasai warriors, coupled with high standards of style and comfort.
Built to ecological standards, Saruni Safari Camp is based on a close partnership with the local community. This Kenya game lodge brings together old traditions of the classic safaris, modern technology and innovative design.
The Masai Mara region is considered the jewel of African wildlife and nowhere on the continent can you find the same abundance and variety of wild animals. The lodge is located in one of the prime areas for ornithologists and hundreds of different species have been recorded.
If you are passionate about birds, your Maasai guides are more than happy to help you identify new species among the 500 plus that live in the Mara. The guides are birdwatchers by instinct and by training. They can recognise these beautiful creatures by their calls and songs as well as by their plumage. Above all, they share your love for birds. All the vehicles have field guides and binoculars.
While on safari, you will be able to meet the Maasai warriors and their families. Most of the employees are from the surrounding areas and are very keen to introduce you to their fascinating traditions. They will become your friends.
