The words intimate and exclusive, private and tailor-made best describe the experience to be found at this Kenya Game Lodge , where the bedrooms are open to the landscape and seeing is believing.
Guests here will never tire of the fabulous views or want to leave their own suite in the sky. The 4 open sided cottages at this Kenya Game Lodge can accommodate 12 or more people, each have multiple verandas and a dining area.
Saruni Samburu is located on the top of a hill in the Kalama Community Wildlife Conservancy which covers an area of 95 000 hectares. Kalama stands in the corridor of crucial migratory routes between northern and southern conservancies in a last remaining wilderness area.
Led by professional Samburu safari guides, morning and night game drives and bush walks set off into this pristine wilderness. Samburu is home to vast herds of Elephant and also rare animals namely the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and Beisa Oryx amongst other game like Leopard and Kudu.
For relaxing in-between times, guests can take a dip in the swimming pool, schedule a Spa treatment or visit a Samburu village to learn about the way of life there. Star gazing at night from the lodge is a delight – fantastic clear skies with great clarity.
